You had high standards for your children and grandchildren, always encouraging us to aim high (never forgetting to note when we missed getting a 100% on a test / exam!). Your warmth and generous spirit will be remembered fondly. Rest easy Appappa ❤️",

He was a familiar figure at the temple during its evolution and without meeting him, watching his beautiful smile and laughter, listening to his kind words and seeing his devotion to spirituality, God and temple activities, during all our temple visits over the years, brought a lot of peace and joy. Even after his retirement we visited him at the senior home, just to see his laughter and jest for life. In our memory Uncle Subramaniam will always be alive and well. May God hold him in his lap with tender loving care and reward him for his long standing, selfless services to the temple, to all devotees and fortunate people like us. Love you very much uncle. Sorry we are unable to attend the events as we are away. Love you",

Few individuals in the history of the temple have commanded the level of respect, admiration, and affection that Sri Subramaniam enjoyed among both the Indian and SriLankan communities. He was the very embodiment of dignity, humility, and unwavering dedication to the temple, serving with complete selflessness and without the slightest trace of personal interest. I had the privilege of knowing him since the early 2000s and developed a warm rapport with him over the years. I was also fortunate to photograph him on numerous occasions during temple functions, preserving memories of his enduring presence and service. Sri Subramaniam leaves behind a lasting legacy of commitment, integrity, and devotion that will be remembered by generations to come. My heartfelt condolences to all members of his family during this time of loss and remembrance. May he attain Shadgathi at the holy feet of Lord Siva. \"வசையொழிய வாழ்வாரே வாழ்வார் இசையொழியவாழ்வாரே வாழா தவர்\"",

Respect from me came naturally - I saw expressions of deep religious beliefs as he picked flowers each morning in his front garden, supplementing his daily worship. Then he will drive to York Street branch of the Bank of Ceylon, opening the bank’s vault, sit down with a smile in his office behind his name board V. SUBRAMANIAM, saying “aum” to anyone who sought help. He was there for me, I behaved in reverence in response. What a beautiful soul which will rest in peace. THIRU",

Uncle lived a meaningful 101 years, and throughout that long life he carried himself with discipline, love and deep devotion to service the community. In the early days of our temple, when everything was still taking shape, he stepped forward as the manager. My late husband Mohan and I admired Uncle , who carried out the administration of the temple with steady hands and a clear mind , built the system and structure that allowed the temple to grow into the spiritual place it is today. But beyond his leadership, what stays with me most is his kindness. When Mohan was in the hospital, Uncle was thoughtful and supportive. He offered comfort without asking and he arranged prayers with such sincerity. In a time of uncertainty ,he brought me strength. I know many young families were benefitted by his guidance when they faced family issues. Uncle leaves behind a legacy of service and devotion. May we honor him by carrying forward the values he lived for.",

His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him. The deep respect my husband had for Mama was evident from the very beginning. In 1966, when he received my photograph as part of a marriage proposal, it was Mama's advice and approval that he sought first. Their bond, built on trust and affection, endured throughout their lives. Mama was highly respected at the Bank of Ceylon, but it was his generosity and willingness to help others that made him truly special. He always put people first and quietly supported those in need. Despite living in Canada for many years, he remained close to our hearts. He always chose to stay with us during his visits to Australia, and his warmth extended across generations. We will never forget his kindness, his visit to me in hospital in his late eighties, and the love he showed our family. Mama, thank you for your love, guidance, and friendship. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.",
